Blended Learning Courses

Steps To Follow

We will be moving to strictly blended learning courses. The class requires every student to make an appointment with our training center upon completion of the online portion of this class, to complete the Hands-On Skills practice and testing.

Upon completing this registration, you will receive the online link to your course within 24 hours.

Complete the online course and then contact us to schedule the hands-on skills testing. We are open Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm.

We will issue the AHA CPR Card upon completion of the skills testing

  • Students still complete in-person hands-on sessions and testing for courses requiring CPR and other psychomotor skills.

Convenient Scheduling

  • Students can complete online courses at home or on the go, on  their preferred desktop or tablet device.
  • Instructions focus  on important psycho-motor skills practice and training to ensure the studet is able to perform.

Operational Efficiency

  • Time in the classroom is minimized as only the hands-on skills session needs to be completed in person.
  • There will be an initial commitment to jump start blended learning, this eventually results in effective and efficient training based on how you manage it.

Many of our CPR courses have a blended option. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner online, followed by a hands-on session.  With blended training, students complete the part 1 online course and then schedule a skill evaluation with one of our instructors to complete the part 2 skills check off. Once the instructor has confirmed a passing score, the student will receive his or her certification via email within 24 hours.

Athens CPR’s e-learning blended courses are fully accredited and replace a 4-6 hour classroom period with a 30-45 minute skill evaluation. Blended courses generally cost less than traditional classroom courses. Online courses can be transferred to a blended course simply by adding on a skill evaluation; no additional testing or training is required once the online course has been completed. Blended learning combines the flexibility of online training with skills practice and testing for CPR and other psycho-motor skills.
