Do I have to retake the full class to renew my CPR certification?
According to Ilcor Guidelines, everyone must retake the course, whether it be through blended training or in a traditional classroom based setting, and be monitored by a certified instructor in order to receive a new certification card.
What is the cost of your classes?

Pricing for individual training is found on our web site via the Course Schedules page. Actual training cost for onsite group training may vary depending on class type, quantity of participants and location. Please contact us for a free, no-obligation quote.

How long is the certificate valid for?

All our courses have certification which lasts 2 years (24 months).

How long is the BLS for Healthcare Providers Training?

The Instructor-led BLS for Healthcare Providers training is approximately 4 hours long.

Is this certification good for my job?

All our courses are certified by the respective organization. We teach only for nationally recognized organizations and the certifications should be valid for any workplace. If you are a Healthcare Provider, and need to have your CPR certification for your job, please register for a BLS for Healthcare Providers course.

I am a nurse. Which type of CPR class should I register for?

BLS for Healthcare Providers by The American Heart Association.

How long is the BLS skill session for?

The skills session for the BLS for Healthcare Providers training is approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

How long is the Heartsaver First Aid, CPR AED Full class?

The duration of this class is approximately 5 hours. If the child and infant modules are included, it may take approximately 6-6.5 hours.

Do you offer classes in Spanish?

Athens CPR is proud to be one of the only training centers in northeast Georgia offering classes in Spanish as well as English. Please contact our office directly to orgnize your Spanish training Session.
